Debra Poppe joined Stadia Sports Medicine in June 2010.  She is a skilled and empathetic professional with doctorate in physical therapy and extensive clinical experience in pediatrics, orthopedics, neuro-rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and variety of other specialties.   Debra is licensed in Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and holds a certification of competency in occupational health practice management. She has demonstrated leadership in clinical practice and received “Therapist of the Year” award in Illinois in 1993. She has taught at several universities and has been an article and book reviewer for the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.  She is proficient in evaluating patients holistically and designing and implementing research-based interventions and care plans. Deb has successfully developed programs and treated patients in addition to leading and collaborating teams of healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes, meet therapy goals, and improve mobility and functioning.
