David R. Birkey joins Stadia Sports Medicine with his doctorate in physical therapy from Des Moines University.  He has focused his clinical education while in physical therapy school around outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine.  David, along with our other physical therapy staff, are the only clinicians serving the Des Moines area certified in the ASTYM system.  He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Iowa Physical Therapy Association.  David enjoys working out, sports and spending time with family and friends.
